Energize takes place on Sunday mornings during the service downstairs in the church.
This is the youth group for 10 - 14 year olds of the church which meets on a Friday evening. There is a varied programme of events from nights at church playing energetic and competitive games, watching videos with a burger or pizza, to having a go at cooking. Sometimes the time is led by visitors who work in the local community. The group is also linked in nationally with Youth for Christ through their 'Rock Solid' resources.
There are also out of church events like bowling, roller-blading, trips to the cinema and firework nights.
This is a new youth group for 6 - 9 year olds launched in September 2007 with contacts made from the Holiday Club and meets on Monday evenings. There is a varied programme of events similar to the Friday Night Group but specifically appropriate for this age group. These include nights at church playing energetic and competitive games.
Holiday Club takes place every year during the summer holidays.
This is a group set up to encourage children and young people to experiment with music, musical instruments and dance. We usually meet on Sunday afternoons at church about once a month.
We have developed, with the aid of the Baptist Union of Great Britain a child protection policy which you can download here, which we follow to ensure that we are a safe place for children and young people to enjoy and grow.
