A new youth club for 11+s. Come and chill out on Fridays! Starting January 2012.
This is a new youth group for 6 - 11 year olds launched in January 2012 with contacts made from the Holiday Club and meets on Friday evenings. There is a varied programme of events appropriate for this age group. These include nights at church playing energetic and competitive games. See poster.
This is a group set up to encourage children and young people to experiment with music, musical instruments and dance. We usually meet on Sunday afternoons at church about once a month. We are hoping to hold an all day Music Marathon to raise funds for Francis House in March 2012.
In response to the enthusiasm of younger children to take part in music, we launched Mini Jammers. The group meets fortnightly after the Sunday morning service for about 20-30 minutes.
We have developed, with the aid of the Baptist Union of Great Britain a child protection policy which you can download here, which we follow to ensure that we are a safe place for children and young people to enjoy and grow.
